SHEP - Food and Fun Holiday Club

‘Working together to help schools nourish children, promote healthy living and provide social learning experiences during the school holidays’

 

What is SHEP?

SHEP is a school-based education programme that provides food and nutrition education, physical activity, enrichment sessions and healthy meals to children during the school summer holidays.

Food and Fun is the brand identity used at local level to promote schemes to children and families.

 

What are the main benefits of SHEP?

During the Summer Holidays 2021 we delivered the Food and Fun programme at Ysgol Cefn Meiriadog to 90% of our pupils. Pupils attended for up to 12 half day sessions and took part in a wide range of activities - all for free!
