What is Food and Fun?

Food and Fun is a free school-based education programme that provides food and nutrition education, physical activity, enrichment sessions and healthy meals for children during the school summer holidays.

Food and Fun is the brand identity used at local level to promote schemes to children and families.

What are the main benefits of Food and Fun?

During the Summer Holidays 2025 we delivered the Food and Fun programme at Ysgol Cefn Meiriadog to 80 children. Children attended for up to 12 half day sessions and took part in a wide range of activities - all for free!
