Croeso i Dosbarth 4
Who are we?
Class 4 is a mixed Year 5 and 6 class with currently 15 children in the class.
We are happy, caring and hard working and we always try our best in everything we do. We love learning new things, have brilliant imaginations, and look forward to challenging and stretching ourselves in class.
School Times - The register is taken at 9am. Please be in school before this time.
PE Day - is a Monday afternoon. Please ensure that all kits are in school on this day.
Outdoor Learning - Between now and half term, Class 4 will have an Outdoor Learning session on Tuesday mornings with Mrs Williams.
SeeSaw - we use the SeeSaw app to liaise with our parents. This app is free to download.
Reading Books - will be sent home with your child and will also be read and discussed in school.
Reading Days - your child will be allocated a one-to-one reading slot once a week, although will take part in lots of reading opportunities throughout the week as well.
Homework - will be sent home on a Friday via SeeSaw and is due the following Friday.
Spellings - will be sent home on a Friday and will be tested the following Friday.
A 'Titanic' Investigation
Class 4 will become historians with a difference this half term, and will work as an expert team through the Mantle of the Expert approach to teaching and learning. The team will carry out an enquiry into the sinking of the Titanic with a focus on developing their Science and Technology skills, deepening their Humanities knowledge and utilising their Mathematical understanding in a real life context.
