Croeso i Dosbarth 4. Welcome to class 4!
We all work together in our classroom to make sure that our learning is exciting and enjoyable. We are taught by Mr Roberts who is helped by his teaching assistant Mrs Wilkins.
We learn many topics throughout the year and take part in as many different activities both within and outside of school as possible.
Please enjoy looking through the photographs of our class.
Denbigh High School-Languages Transition Day
Year 6 children were invited to Denbigh High School to take part in a transition event. They learnt about the languages of English, Welsh and French.
The children learnt how to draw ‘manga’ style in preparation to write their own manga story. Unfortunately the Coronavirus outbreak has put an end to that for now. Before the school was closed, the children took park in some very relaxing Japanese yoga.
For the first week, the children in class 4 learnt about our wonderful country of Wales. They took part in our annual school Eisteddfod at the beginning of the week and made some delicious Welsh cakes. They created some fantastic plaques for their art & craft competition, carefully thinking about Welsh emblems and symbols.
The children in class 4 planned their very own topic for the second part of the Spring term. They decided that they wanted to learn about different countries from around the world. They narrowed their choices down to the following countries and are learning about one of them every week!
Week 1: Wales
Week 2: France
Week 3: Japan
Week 4: Australia
Week 5: North & South America
Week 6: Artic & Antarctica
